Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ResilientNiche (“ResilientNiche,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit resilientniche.com, purchase The AI Citation Playbook, or otherwise interact with our products and services (the “Services”).
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Order information. When you purchase, you provide your name, email address, billing address, and payment details. Payment card information is collected and processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Account & community profile. If you join the member community, you may provide a username, profile photo, and any content you post.
- Support & communications. If you email us or submit a refund request, we receive your message and any information you choose to include.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data. Server logs may record your IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit.
- Cookies and similar technologies. We use a small number of cookies to keep the site functional. We do not currently run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on the marketing site. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process your purchase and deliver the Services to you.
- Provide customer support and respond to refund requests.
- Operate, maintain, and improve the website and the product.
- Send transactional emails (receipts, access details, important updates about the product you purchased).
- Send optional product updates and educational emails if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security issues.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Legal Bases (EU/UK Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing your personal data include: performance of a contract (delivering the product you purchased), our legitimate interests (running and improving the Services, securing the site), your consent (where required, e.g., for marketing communications or optional cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the Services, and only with parties bound by appropriate confidentiality and data-handling obligations:
- Payment processor — to charge your card and process refunds.
- Email and delivery providers — to send receipts, access instructions, and any optional emails you have opted in to.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — to run the website and product delivery.
- Community platform — if you join the member community, your profile and posts are visible to other members and handled under that platform's own privacy policy.
- Legal and safety. We may share information when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of ResilientNiche or others.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you (for example by email or a notice on the site) if that happens.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Order and tax records are typically retained for as long as required by applicable law. You can request deletion of your account-level data at any time (see “Your Rights” below).
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent for processing based on consent.
- Receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format.
- File a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email malik@resilientniche.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on the request.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep the risk low and to respond quickly to any incident.
8. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International Transfers
The Services are operated from the United States. If you access them from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. or in other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
10. Third-Party Links
The Services may link to third-party sites or tools. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Read their policies before sharing information with them.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. For material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice, such as an email or a banner on the site.
